A new icon in the Doha dining scene, the exclusive restaurant brings classic Italian favorites and unparalleled service leveraging the heritage of a four-generation family tradition

Cipriani, the iconic Venetian restaurant concept, with over 90 years of culinary heritage; announced its exclusive Ramadan menu to celebrate the Holy Month for the first time in Qatar.

Cipriani will extend its opening hours during Ramadan from 5:30pm to 1:45am, accommodating both Iftar and Suhoor, seven days a week.

The Ramadan set menu will offer a delicious selection of Italian favourites, starting with the soup of the day, followed by Burrata alla Mediterranea or Aubergines alla Parmigiana and a variety of main courses, including prawns and calamari fritti with tartar sauce, and homemade buffalo ricotta gnocchi all’ Arrabbiata.

The menu also features favourite entrees such as Lasagna ‘’alla’’ Bolognese, Chicken Spezzatino Curry with spiced rice, braised beef Short Ribs with mashed potatoes, baked Tagliatelle with porcini and mixed mushrooms, Pappardelle alla Bolognese, Chicken alla Cipriani, and the restaurant’s mouthwatering Roasted Lamb Shoulder.

Commenting on the occasion, Giuseppe Cipriani said: “We have set the scene with authentic Italian cuisine for the ultimate Ramadan experience. With top quality and fresh ingredients, prepared with care, some of which imported from Italy, and our nautical Venetian vibes, we will take our guests to the wonderful Italian shores this Ramadan, on an unprecedented exploration of Italian hospitality.”

From Venice to Doha, Cipriani opened its doors in the prestigious West Bay area in November last year, offering a deluxe Venetian experience with stunning seaside views and an open terrace directly overlooking the Arabian gulf. The restaurant prides itself on great service, paired with traditional Italian and Venetian recipes, building on the legacy of a four-generation family tradition founded on the motto “to serve is first to love”.

Cipriani's iconic décor features nautical colors, with maritime like interiors, Murano glass chandeliers, blue and white terrazzo patterned floor, high gloss wood and contemporary black-and-white fashion photography adorning the walls.

Yotto, the Japanese inspired private dining room on the second floor, will also extend its opening hours to open seven days a week from 7:00pm to 11:45pm for à la carte dining.

The M HYBRID system in the BMW XM Label Red demonstrates the intoxicating effect of drive system electrification in high-performance models from BMW M GmbH in impressive style. The precisely honed interplay of the electric motor and V8 engine ensures an instantaneous delivery of power that then builds emphatically and continues unabated into the highest reaches of the rev range.

In the BMW XM Label Red, the V8 makes an even greater contribution to the system output generated in tandem with the electric motor. It produces its maximum output of 585 hp at 5,600 rpm. Peak torque is 750 Nm and is on tap across an extremely wide rev band from 1,800 to 5,400 rpm.The latest generation of the V8 stands out with its extremely rapid power delivery, increased efficiency and minimised emissions.

With two electronically controlled and continuously adjustable flaps, the sports exhaust system of the BMW XM Label Red provides an emotionally rich accompaniment to the engine’s power delivery with a vibrancy and energy not normally associated with an eight-cylinder unit. Powerful high-voltage battery and Combined Charging Unit.

The motor draws its energy from a high-voltage lithium-ion battery integrated into the underbody area, which is a product of fifth-generation BMW eDrive technology. It has a usable energy content of 25.7 kWh. Together with the electric motor’s excellent efficiency and the system of intelligent energy management, this enables an electric range of 75 – 83 kilometres in the WLTP cycle. The BMW XM Label Red can therefore complete not only journeys around town but also cross-country routes locally emission-free and almost silently. The top speed achievable in pure electric mode is 140 km/h. The Combined Charging Unit of the M HYBRID system enables AC charging at up to 7.4 kW. This means the high-voltage battery can be replenished from zero to 100 per cent charge in 4.25 hours.

The limited-edition variant of the BMW XM Label Red – only 500 examples of which will be released globally – maximises the exclusivity factor with even more expressive styling.

The distinguishing features of the BMW XM Label Red include an accent band in Toronto Red metallic. The use of red also extends to the model badges and the wheel inserts. Toronto Red metallic for the BMW M kidney grille surround and rear diffuser insert create additional design cues that combine with a body paint finish in BMW Individual Frozen Carbon Black metallic.

DESIGN

Spectre is the next generation of Rolls-Royce, setting a new precedent in the creation of an entirely original class of motor car, the Ultra-Luxury Electric Super Coupé. A spiritual successor to the Phantom Coupé, Spectre is an emblem of artisanship in perfect harmony with electric technology, its visionary design reinvents timeless iconography.

Taking design inspiration from many sources including contemporary luxury yacht concepts, as the streamlined Spirit of Ecstasy leads Spectre forward with command and poise, this electric masterpiece acknowledges its forebear, the Phantom Coupé, with its generous proportions and split headlight treatment – a contemporary Rolls-Royce design tenet. Spectre’s uncompromising character is articulated through lines of sculptural purity. Its straightened form is exciting in every sense, the fender line evokes dynamism, while the waft line sharply tapers at the front creating the illusion of motion even when the car is still.

Stepping into Spectre also evokes feelings of wonder. Engulfed in supple and inviting leather, the interior draws inspiration from the timeless mystique of the night sky. With an intricate show of shooting stars, the Starlight Headliner is spellbinding whilst the Illuminated Fascia mesmerises with over 5,500 stars, a feature which took over two years to develop. Additionally, for the first time on a series production Rolls-Royce, Starlight Doors incorporating 4,796 softly illuminated ‘stars’ are available. Each ‘star’ is positioned by hand, creating a subtle sense of motion within Spectre’s cabin.

Alongside the stunning illuminated surfaces, Spectre is equipped with a completely redesigned digital architecture of luxury named SPIRIT, presented in quintessential Rolls-Royce style. The digital extension of the Architecture of Luxury, SPIRIT sets a new precedent for how technology and luxury are married with automotive excellence, not only managing the motor car’s functions, but also seamlessly integrating into the marque’s Whispers application, allowing clients to interact with their car remotely, and receive live information curated by the marque’s luxury intelligence specialists.

The proportional demands of Spectre’s scale required Rolls-Royce to embolden its wheel strategy. Spectre is the first production two-door coupé to be equipped with 23-inch wheels in almost one hundred years.
