The new collection DADA is available in the Blue Salon and the "Aigner" boutique in the Pearl
Rebellion against existing conventions – the artistic and literary movement Dadaism from the 20th century inspired Christian Alexander Beck for the spring/summer 2019 season. Striving for a new way of life meant rethinking the familiar and breaking old habits.
With the DADA collection AIGNER is different, but still retains its classy styles. The collection is disruptive: clean designs are up against creative mixing and matching patterns, while unexpected details such as trompe-l’oeil prints are reflected on clear shapes. Accessories and a refreshing color palette give the collection a brand new vibe. Bright, bold colors such as Cyan Blue, Sage Green and Lemon Yellow characterize the look and are combined with muted summer shades such as Nougat and Cloud White. Signal Red adds a strong accent. Color contrasts create an interesting tension and allow brand new creations.
CYBILL SPECIALS
The signature bag from AIGNER remains an important part of the collection. On top of established models, three special versions in a new size are the highlight of the series. The ‚Cybill Scacchi‘impresses with a black/white chequerboard pattern and makes a statement with a golden handle. For the ‚Cybill Cavallo‘ AIGNER picks up
on its history in equestrian sports with a modern striking golden horse’s head as a handle. With the innovative 3D print in an embroidered look in bright seasonal colors, the ‚Cybill Lettra ‘picks up on the season’s trend shades and demonstrates the collection’s theme.
ALESSIA
As the reissue of an AIGNER hallmark in two sizes, vintage elements are reinterpreted in the luxurious clipframe bag and gain an elegant finish with the high-quality, finely pearl-grained leather from Italy. Retro details such as metal panels and the braided handle are interpreted in a modern way and give the model a cool touch.
RUBY
The new shoulder bag in three special versions is an absolute eye-catcher. Inspired by a model of a former AIGNER bag, it breaks through the modern look. In bright Cyan Blue with a stylized eye and a contrasting ruffle in radiant Lemon Yellow or in a Black & White look with modern AIGNER lettering or in striking Signal Red with white fringing – every model is unique and completely different.
GRETA
With its timeless, minimalist shape, ‚Greta‘ has what it takes to become a new classic. The shoulder bag in three shapes and colors plays with volume, size and depth: with narrow straps that are closed diagonally at the front, it has a compact, square shape. Once the straps are opened, it reveals its trapezoid shape with plenty of storage space and a completely new look. The Italian craftsmanship is evident in the design and details, such as the elaborate, detailed handle attachment.
GALA
As the name suggests, ‚Gala‘ is full of grace in its design and appearance. The soft-top grain leather radiates and shines in rich Black, Burgundy or Sage Green. The color-contrasting seams in Nougat, Cyan Blue or Signal Red are real highlights. Another sophisticated feature is that the upper opening is closed with a leather strap and wraps itself elegantly around the opening. The characteristic golden lock makes the series an opulent eye-catcher. As a special issue, ‚Gala‘ is available as a small shoulder bag with fully embroidered, colorful seasonal artwork.
KAIA
The unusual, high-quality design of ‚Kaia‘ is a spatial wonder thanks to its especially soft leather and casual, linear shape in three different sizes – besides two spacious bags, a mini crossbody version also stands out. Details such as the small lock on the handle catch the eye. All versions are also available as special issues with a cool, block-color Dada print. It gives the bags an urban look and makes them absolute street style
darlings.
