Boutique Swiss watchmaker Edox introduces a striking addition to its Les Bemonts collection, the Les Bemonts Automatic Shade of Time.
The Shade of Time’s Swiss-made au- tomatic movement is a masterpiece of Swiss craftsmanship featuring 156 components; and via the open dial and case back the wearer can view the heart of the “skeleton” movement, a mes- merizing window on the dance of time.
It’s a real balancing act to skeletonise a movement, yet ensure the integrity and accuracy of the timekeeping is not affected and Edox delivers this with aplomb.
The drum and barrel-cover have been opened up, displaying the fascinating rhythm of the mainspring and other components.
The 41mm diameter Shade of Time is housed in a steel case and beautifully complemented by a classic leather strap.
