Fahad al obaidly always had an enormous interest in fashion and a passion for design. After graduating with the bachelor of arts in fashion design from istituto marangoni, it has been clear to him to establish qatar’s first menswear brand under his name.
Fahad Al Obaidly ‘s spring/summer 2019 collection is inspired by the architecture as well as the natural landscape of qatar’s capital city and his home doha. For his collection fahad al obaidly uses the most advanced technological and exclusive natural materials which are all handpicked by himself in order to get a unique take in contemporary and state of the art menswear fashion.
The patterns were born by looking at the fast moving development of the landscape in qatar. Especially the shapes and patterns of the architecture.
The inspiration of the cuban shirts are from a past era where dandies filled the street dressing more relaed and rebellions in their spare time when they spend their summer at the rivera or palm springs.
The garments are all natural and self cooling which adapt ideally to the local weather conditions of the qatari summer.
