QATAR’S FIRST CRYOSAUNA COMES TO THE RITZ-CARLTON, DOHA




The Ritz-Carlton, Doha is pleased to announce that it has brought the first cryosauna to Qatar, available for Doha’s residents andluxury travelers alike.


The Ritz-Carlton, Doha continues to reimagine its facilities and offerings to excite the senses of its guests at the award winning Ritz-Carlton Spa. This innovative treatment is based on Dr. Yamaguchi’s method, which was to create a treatment to chill the skin’s surface to relieve pain. It will take place in a sauna style, walk-in chamber, with sessions lasting 90 seconds to 3 minutes, where temperatures drop to an average of – 180 degrees Celsius.


Cryotherapy is widely used by professional athletes and football clubs around the world. They are known to utilize cryotherapy sessions to speed recovery, reduce injuries, increase energy and improve sleep.


Cryotherapy is also beneficial for those seeking to improve skin tone and skin texture. Additionally, it is also used as a method to assist with weight loss as it is reported to burn between 500 to 1,500 calories per session and individuals often use cryotherapy for cosmetic purposes such as anti-aging.
