The high artistry of Serapian stars in Homo Faber: Crafting a more human future exhibition in Venic

Serapian joins Homo Faber: Crafting a more human future, 2022 I tesori viventi dell'Europa e del Giappone, the exhibition organized in Venice by The Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship to promote the most refined and contemporary crafts.

From April 10th to May 1st 2022, the event will gather some of the best representatives of high artistry from Europe and Japan to celebrate their commitment to quality and refinement. Both cultures sharing many similarities between them, such as the same passion for beauty and perfection.

For the first time amongst them, Serapian stands out with its iconic Mosaico craft - the signature handmade weaving process of soft lamb nappa strips giving birth to incredibly soft creations. The Maison is presenting some of its icons, like the Secret bag, paired with exceptional one-of-a-kind pieces inspired by the culture of Japan, the country to which the 2022 edition of Homo Faber pays tribute to.

Among the exceptional leather goods creations that will be displayed by Serapian, guests can discover: An extraordinary jewelry box hand-painted on the inside with natural pigments by the Japanese artist Shoko Okumura, a Secret Clutch enhanced with black marble-decorated handles as well as the iconic Secret Bag in Mosaico Chiaroscuro, elegantly veering from light to dark.
