The HUAWEI Mate 20 Pro is still unchallenged, and here’s why

The HUAWEI Mate 20 Pro is the smartphone everybody had been raving about lately, and is now the talk of the town once again – now that it won the award of “Best smartphone” in Mobile World Congress Barcelona 2019 – the event brings together the latest innovations and leading-edge technology from more than  2,400 leading companies around the world, with a highly-rated  conference programme  assembling today’s visionaries to explore the hottest topics influencing the industry. The award was given by GSMA, which represents the interests of mobile operators worldwide, uniting more than 750 operators with over 350 companies in the broader mobile ecosystem, and holds the industry-leading MWC events held annually in major cities around the world.

So if you haven’t gotten the memo, this smartphone was pretty impressive in terms of performance, battery life, design, and it had introduced the world’s first Reverse Wireless Charging when it was launched in October 2018. What we do however want to talk about, is the fact that it remains a smartphone with one of the most advanced cameras on the market. With its 40MP Leica triple camera, the quality of your pictures will be on a whole other level. The rear triple camera consists of a 40MP one, a 20MP one with an Ultra Wide Angle Lens and a 8MP telephoto one.

Thanks to the Ultra Wide Angle Lens, you can take wide, uninterrupted images of large monuments horizontally or vertically. Whether you are trying to snap a photo of the largest building in the world or the entire horizon, the Ultra Wide Angle Lens will help you fit it all into one perfect shot. The same applies to indoor photography – you will be able to take a picture in a corridor, elevator or in your bedroom, and still have it come out absolutely picturesque.

Have you ever seen a ladybug strolling around and just imagined how cool it would be if you could see it up close? With the Ultra Wide Angle Lens lets you do that. Through the Macrophotography feature, you can shoot objects as close as 2.5cm and get crisp clear images. It works perfectly well on insects, leaves, or intricately detailed objects – a whole other world is awaiting to be discovered.

As for the front camera, it is a 24MP one – which means your selfie quality will be mind-blowing!

As for the colors – the will be just as they should be. Thanks to an Artificial Intelligence enabled image recognition, the camera will identify what it is you are trying to shoot and optimizes its colors accordingly, allowing you to take the perfect shot. It can recognize 1,500 scenarios across 25 categories. From the sky to a dog, the camera can identify pretty much everything around you and accentuate with utmost precision – no editing or filters needed.

The HUAWEI Mate 20 Pro’s camera system remains one of the most advanced cameras on the market, exceeding users’ expectations. Its specifications remain unchallenged– which is why the device received the latest accolade as the best smartphone according to GSMA , at one of the largest mobile events in the world for serving as a testament to Huawei’s leading technologies and its commitment to delivering the best products and user experiences to consumers around the world.
