Gulf Craft returns to Qatar Boat Show 2025 with a strong line-up and a series of strategic announcements that underline the company’s long-standing commitment to Qatar – one of the shipyard’s most important markets in the region. The announcements were made during Gulf Craft’s press conference on 5 November, held on board the Nomad 101 in the presence of the leadership team and the company’s trusted local partner, Gulf Yachts. The showcase features a comprehensive line-up across the Group’s portfolio, including Majesty and Nomad yachts, Oryx cabin cruisers, and SilverCAT power catamarans, giving Qatari clients an exclusive look at the brand’s latest innovations and upcoming developments.


With a relationship dating back nearly two decades, Qatar continues to play a central role in Gulf Craft’s growth across the GCC. The Qatar Boat Show stands among the region’s most influential yachting platforms, offering an ideal stage for Gulf Craft to connect with owners, introduce new models, and present its future plans. Exclusive Preview: The All-New Nomad 101


A key highlight of Gulf Craft’s participation will be the all-new Nomad 101, presented as an early preview of the 2026 edition. Designed with comfort, capability and extended onboard living in mind, the latest evolution of the Nomad series reflects Gulf Craft’s growing focus on models tailored to the region’s climate and owner lifestyle. The new Nomad 101 reinforces the brand’s reputation for innovation and purpose-built yacht design.


A Complete Majesty Yachts Showcase


This year’s line-up features a strong representation from the Majesty Yachts collection, including the Majesty 60, Majesty 65, and Majesty 72. These models reflect Gulf Craft’s core values of craftsmanship, luxury, and versatile design, offering Qatari owners and prospective buyers a closer look at the brand’s most popular yachts in the 60-70 ft segment.


SilverCAT Expands its Presence in Qatar


The SilverCAT brand will also have a prominent presence, with the newly launched SilverCAT 35CX showcased alongside the highly popular SilverCAT 40LUX. Both models continue to strengthen Gulf Craft’s leadership in the power-catamaran category, delivering a balance of performance, comfort and efficient design that resonates strongly with owners in Qatar.


Updates from SYSC, SilverCAT and Maldives Facilities


During the press conference, Gulf Craft will also share updates on the ongoing development of the SYSC (Superyacht Service Centre), the expansion of the SCAT composites facility, and progress at its Maldives shipyard. These investments reflect the company’s commitment to expanding capacity, enhancing after-sales service, and supporting future growth across all its global markets.

Fifty One East, Qatar’s favorite department store, unveiled its first-ever eveningwear trunk show of this scale, an unprecedented showcase uniting eleven of the world’s most prestigious brands under one roof. The exclusive event celebrated the artistry of couture, the innovation of contemporary design, and the immersive experiences that define modern luxury.


The opening event welcomed loyal clientele and key media partners to a showcase that seamlessly blended fashion, art, and emotion. Against a backdrop inspired by Roman architecture, each brand presented its Spring/Summer 2026 eveningwear collection in a uniquely designed booth adorned with Roman-style pillars and ethereal lighting. Guests enjoyed premium catering by Pierre Hermé and the exquisite offerings of Boucheron’s Jardin d’Hiver Café, complemented by captivating performances featuring a saxophonist on a ladder, a violinist encased within a decorative frame, and the mesmerizing spectacle of a flying piano.



A Curation of Global Excellence


Bringing together Carolina Herrera, Georges Hobeika, Giambattista Valli, Jenny Packham, Kiton, Marmar Halim, Monique Lhuillier, Naeem Khan, Oscar de la Renta, Saiid Kobeisy, and Tony Ward, the event showcased the latest eveningwear collections through a unified lens of artistry and innovation.


Each designer offered a unique interpretation of contemporary elegance: Carolina Herrera paid tribute to Madrid’s Golden Age and La Movida movement through vibrant florals and sculptural tailoring; Georges Hobeika celebrated slow craftsmanship and timeless sophistication; Giambattista Valli revealed ethereal romanticism with airy, floral-infused silhouettes; and Jenny Packham evoked cinematic glamour with crystal-embellished gowns. Kiton brought understated Neapolitan precision to soft, flowing tailoring, while Marmar Halim balanced strength and grace through sculptural draping and metallic hues. Monique Lhuillier expressed radiant femininity with bold colors, florals, and intricate embellishments, while Naeem Khan dazzled with cultural motifs and vibrant embroidery. Oscar de la Renta embraced nature’s renewal through porcelain florals and textural movement; Saiid Kobeisy refined couture codes with modern refinement; and Tony Ward reimagined Atlantis as a poetic metaphor for beauty and allure.


An Immersive Fashion Experience


Beyond the runway, the event offered guests a rare opportunity to engage directly with the brands in a curated, sensory experience that merged storytelling, design, and retail. Every detail was conceived to reflect Fifty One East’s commitment to elevating the luxury fashion landscape in Qatar.

Auto Class Cars, the authorized dealer of the MG brand in Qatar, together with MG Motor, has launched the all-new MG HS Hybrid+ in Qatar, offering a combinination of advanced hybrid performance, efficiency, striking design, and premium comfort for drivers seeking a smarter and more versatile SUV.


The launching ceremony took place at the InterContinental Beach & Spa Hotel in Doha in the presence of Mr. Frank Zauner, General Manager, Zaher Janbieh General Sales Manager, and Ahmad Firoozi, Marketing Manager at Auto Class Cars, alongside distinguished guests, and representatives of media and influencers.

The all-new MG HS Hybrid+ is the brand’s second hybrid model to be launched in Qatar, following the recent arrival of the MG 8 Plug-in Hybrid. During the event, the new MG HS Hybrid+ was unveiled, alongside the recently introduced MG 8 Plug-in Hybrid by Auto Class Cars in Qatar, allowing attendees to explore the outstanding features offered by these models.



Mr. Frank Zauner, General Manager of Auto Class Cars emphasized in his speech the importance of Auto Class Cars’ carefully designed strategy to provide the latest models of the brand in Qatar, with the aim of meeting modern-day needs and keeping pace with advancements in this vital sector.


“The launch of our new hybrid model marks a significant step in our ongoing strategy to shape a more sustainable future for mobility,” Zauner said. “As we continue to expand our portfolio with innovative and environmentally responsible vehicles, we are reaffirming our commitment to providing the community with smarter, cleaner, and more efficient transportation solutions. The all-new MG HS Hybrid+ is powered by a responsive hybrid system that pairs a petrol engine with a powerful electric motor. The advanced powertrain adapts intelligently between Electric and Petrol modes, delivering smooth acceleration, reduced fuel consumption, and lower CO₂ emissions. With a range of up to 1,287 km, it offers the freedom to travel further with confidence.


Designed to stand out, the HS Hybrid+ features a bold black grille with chrome accents, slimline LED headlights, a distinctive taillight bar, silver roof rails, and a sporty rear spoiler. Inside, the cabin is spacious and driver-focused, offering premium finishes, heated seating options, dual-zone air conditioning, and a multifunction steering wheel. The cabin also incorporates distinctive design touches, including a crystallised gear knob, that add a premium level of detail to the driver-focused environment.


Hybrid range of up to 1,287 km with seamless transitions between EV and Petrol engine modes

As with all MG models, technology plays a central role in the all-new MG HS Hybrid+. A 27-inch dual digital display system (infotainment and driver display) provides both style and functionality, while wireless smartphone charging and satellite navigation ensure drivers remain seamlessly connected.


For added peace of mind, the HS Hybrid+ also offers MG Pilot – a suite of advanced driver-assistance systems. Features include Adaptive Cruise Control, Active Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Blind Spot Detection, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, all contributing to its 5-Star Euro NCAP rating.

Powering the all-new MG HS Hybrid+ is a 1.5T hybrid engine that produces an impressive 221 hp and 340 Nm of torque, ensuring a combined range of up to 1,287 km with seamless transitions between EV and petrol engine modes.

 

The HS range also includes two petrol-powered variants, launched earlier this year, offering drivers the choice between a 1.5T engine delivering 173 hp with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, or a 2.0T engine producing 231 hp with a 9-speed automatic transmission.

 

Advanced safety features contributing to a 5-Star Euro NCAP rating

Across both hybrid and petrol versions, the MG HS delivers refined performance, superior handling dynamics, and enhanced NVH levels, ensuring every drive is smooth, responsive, and exhilarating — perfectly complemented by a sporty three-spoke squaricle steering wheel that adds a touch of dynamism to the experience.

 

The MG HS is one of the brand’s most successful models, with a particularly strong following in Europe where it was MG’s second best-selling car in 2024. And in the UK, birthplace of the brand, the HS has occupied a place in the top 10 best-selling cars both last year and this year to date. Moreover, the first generation of the popular SUV received the accolade of Middle East Car of the Year in 2020.

The all-new MG HS Hybrid+ is now available at MG showrooms in Qatar on Salwa Road and Lusail.
