Drawing from MGallery’s innovativeInspired by Her program, Alwadi Hotel MGallery has developed an exciting range of offers and activities to honor our female guests. International Women’s day is celebrated globally on 8 March and is a day that honors women and their important place in our society.
MGallery’s Inspired by her is a selection of products, services and experiences designed by women for women and wholly dedicated to women’s wellbeing while travelling in MGallery hotels around the world.
On March 8th, 2020 our female guests will be treated to a 50 percent discount at our popular SOFRA restaurant which will be offering special menu items with a feminine touch as well as a complimentary welcome drink, “Inspired byHer”.
Also on International Women’s Day we are offering a 50 percent discount on a facial treatment at our award winning M|Spa, where women are invited to relax and be pampered on this special day.
Alwadi Hotel MGallery is also encouraging our female guests to visit and contribute to our “DreamBook”–where they can write their dreams and revisit later to see if they had come true.
Mr. Hani Akkari, A/ General Manager of the Alwadi Hotel MGallery said is a hotel that has been designed and run with our female guests and feminine enrichment firmly at the forefront.
“We want to celebrate women, their role in our society and the special place our female guests have at our hotel,” Mr. Akkari said. “We want to give something back to women in our community. So it was important for us to bring in feminine touches to enrich the guest experience. But this is not just on International Women’s Day, it is every day–at Alwadi MGallery, we are trulyInspired by Her.”
The building’s unique design has incorporated feminine touches–starting with the intricate and be spoke Mashrabiya design which forms the foundation of the while hotel look and feel. Mashrabiya is an Arabic feminine design and architecture latticework element developed centuries ago. The designs not only provided shelter from the sun but also allowed the ladies of the house to look out on the street while others can’t see them.
The hotel is also decorated in gold and purple colors throughout the property and the distinctive, special henna designs on the carpets in the corridors and in our rooms as well as pearl inspirations around building. These colors and designs have been carefully chosen to reflect MGallery’sInspired by Her ethos.
Female in-house guests are also treated to special touches such as a stylish Inspired by Her bracelet presented at check in and other amenities including a make-up mirror, a high quality hair dryer, a choice of teas and infusions available in room.
