Drawing inspiration from the scarab, one of Ancient Egypt’s most powerful symbols, the collection celebrates themes of rebirth, creation, and protection. The idea of implementing different elements within designs is an essence within the collection, the implementation of Horus has been embedded within several designs. The Winged Scarab Cuff is inspired by many technical and design references but infused with a modern sensibility. Homage is paid to the two great treasures from the tombs of Tutankhamun and Pseuseness I; the extensive scarab collection at the Petrie Museum; and the Eye of Horus amulet from the Metropolitan Museum in NYC.
