DUNHILL COMMUNITY: CURATED - PLAYLISTS BY FEMI ADEYEMI

Following the launch of ‘dunhill Community: Live’, a weekly series of conversations between Creative Director Mark Weston and members of the dunhill Community, ‘dunhill Community: Curated’ is a platform to celebrate art and artists the House believes in. From a multiplicity of fields, backgrounds and subject matters, dunhill celebrates and supports its collaborators; sharing their work with the wider community.

Second in the ‘dunhill Community: Curated’ series is Femi Adeyemi, founder of NTS Radio. A pioneer of independent radio, Femi founded NTS in Hackney in 2011 as a tonic to the mainstream; where genre borders are opened and the diversity of London’s musical landscape could be explored and represented.

Now with 600 shows under their belt and live stations in London, Manchester, Shanghai and LA, Londoner Femi revisits the station’s international archive and selects his essential playlists.

The in-feed residency is centred on monthly themes, where each of the invited curators selects pieces of personal content relating to that subject; showcasing their photographs, words, films or animations on the House Instagram account.

“I instigated the idea of the dunhill community a couple of years ago as a platform and forum to pull together and connect people from different creative fields, to promote a cross pollination of ideas and conversations with those that have shared values of integrity, intuition, insistence and discovery.” – Mark Weston, Creative Director
