Having first been held in 1905 in Switzerland, the Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS) is now synonymous with automotive history and culture – and this year it added an exciting new dimension by hosting an event in Qatar to showcase technology and innovation.
At the forefront of the show was Alfardan Premier Motors Co., the official retailer of Jaguar Land Rover in the State of Qatar, with a stunning display of the latest models from JLR’s House of Brands: cars that distinguish themselves with their unique philosophy of luxury by modern design.
Alfardan Premier Motors is a perfect example of innovation through service, which prompted the team to display the stunning Range Rover SV as the centrepiece of the Motor Show in Doha.
The new Range Rover SV is distinguished by carefully-crafted enhancements that showcase and complement the new Range Rover’s modernist design, with each example lovingly hand-crafted in the UK by the Special Vehicles (SV) division.
The Range Rover SV lined up alongside the Range Rover Sport at GIMS Qatar; a vehicle that redefines sporting luxury, effortlessly combining assertive and instinctive on-road performance with trademark Range Rover refinement, progressive design sophistication, and connected convenience.
The full range of the iconic Defender family was also on display, including the latest Defender 130. Two fully accessorised Defenders from Alfardan Premier Motors were shown at The Outpost Al Barari resort, forming part of a GIMS activation based outside the main show in the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre, designed to showcase offroad vehicles in their natural element.
The all-electric Jaguar I-PACE, which points to the new electrified era for the brand’s future, was additionally shown. A paragon of performance and comfort, the I-PACE perfectly represents the pioneering spirit of the Geneva Motor Show and Alfardan Premier Motors in Qatar.
Lining up alongside the Jaguar I-PACE was the acclaimed Jaguar F-PACE: a luxury performance SUV that brings together award-winning design, efficiency, and intuitive technologies, delivering greater performance, agility, and dynamism than ever before.
