Hundreds of fans gathered outside Sephora Dubai Mall as Huda Kattan joined in the celebration to mark the 10-year anniversary of Huda Beauty! It all started a decade ago, when Huda Beauty first introduced their false lashes to the world, the beginning of what has since become a global powerhouse and one of the most influential beauty brands in the world.

Joined by Mona Kattan, Huda expressed her gratitude for her fans’ unwavering support “This is an incredible moment to experience the place where it all started at Sephora Dubai Mall 10 years ago! Sharing the celebration with you all is such an honor. Honestly, you have made it all possible and I couldn’t have done this without all of you! Thank you for believing in my dreams!” Huda Kattan said as the crowd erupted in applause.

In 2010, Huda Kattan launched a YouTube channel and Beauty Blog that quickly became one of the most viewed beauty channels in the world. Huda’s passion for beauty has been the key to her success. On February 16th of 2013, Kattan officially launched Huda Beauty with Sephora at The Dubai Mall, a dream come true to become an official partner of such an established retailer.

It was a day of celebration as Huda Beauty's messages of love and inclusive beauty echoed throughout the mall, a monumental event to mark the start of the successful collaboration between Huda Beauty and Sephora. With the backing of her loyal fans, this journey turned Huda into one of the world’s biggest beauty entrepreneurs and was honored with the Entrepreneur of the Year Award by both Time 100 and Fashion Trust Arabia in 2022. Huda is also listed as one of The Richest Self-Made Women and one of the Top Three Beauty Influencers by Forbes.

David Vercruysse, President of Fashion, Beauty & Homeware at Chalhoub Group, expressed his pride in having been part of Huda Beauty’s launch to stardom, having seen Kattan’s passion and ambition from the start. David shares “I met Huda 10 years ago when I was a young GM for Sephora ME - a Joint Venture with Chalhoub Group. I had no idea if eyelashes would be a hit in the region but I could only be inspired by Huda’s passion, vision, drive and ambition to push the beauty industry boundaries.
