La Mar by Gastón Acurio Celebrates Two Years at InterContinental® Doha

Another round of 365 days, celebrated in one night.





La Mar Doha by celebrity chef Gastón Acurio celebrates their second year anniversary on November 11th, 2020. Being the first La Mar in the Middle East, La Mar Doha has put together small happenings to celebrate the anniversary of Doha’s much-loved Peruvian restaurant.

Gastón Acurio is a Peruvian chef and ambassador of Peruvian cuisine. He owns more than 40 restaurants around the world, all with one mission: to bring Peruvian cuisine to the world. He is also a renowned host, author of several books, and a contributor to magazines. The birth of his famous cebicheria, La Mar, began with a customised supply chain of smaller-scale “artisanal” fishermen. To contribute to sustainable fishing, La Mar chefs are famous in planning menus and specials around the seasonal availability of raw ingredients.

November 11th, 2020 marks the second anniversary of the first La Mar in the Middle East. La Mar will celebrate its 2nd anniversary in an intimate atmosphere. The celebration focuses on the highlights of Peru’s rich culinary history influenced by immigrants from China & Japan. La Mar will display this evening a palate of the oriental influences ranging over a four course-tasting menu. This special evening is all about tingling your taste buds and experiencing the unique flavors Peru has to offer.
