Swiss Haute Horlogerie manufacturer Audemars Piguet is delighted to celebrate the end of the golf season at the Els Club in Dubai. For the occasion, the brand invited 72 watch enthusiasts to enjoy a thrilling sporting experience alongside some of Audemars Piguet’s golf ambassadors.
6 members of the Dream Team including Abraham Ancer, Adri Arnaus, Andy Sullivan, Bernd Wiesberger, Danny Willett and Tyrrell Hatton joined the AP Family in Dubai for the brand’s Golf Invitational tournament which brings together pro-golfers and watch aficionados for a convivial event blending competition with fun.
“We are thrilled to be able to host our Dubai Golf Invitational again this year and offer our guests the exclusive opportunity to share their passion for the sport and play alongside some of the world’s best golfers in a unique atmosphere full of banter. This is the AP Family spirit at its best!”
François-Henry Bennahmias
Audemars Piguet’s Chief Executive Officer
The tournament debuted with an exciting challenge on the driving range for the Dream Team players organised by Me and My Golf, the world’s number one golf youtubers, followed by an entertaining show by former Golf Trick Shot World Champion Geoff Swain. After this entertaining warm-up, the ambassadors led their respective teams of watch enthusiasts for a shared round of golf on the Els Club course – a one-of-a-kind opportunity for the amateurs to perfect their shots thanks to the pros’ invaluable tips.
For the occasion, some of the ambassadors sported the Manufacture’s latest 44 mm two-tone Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph timepieces endowed with a highly colourful personality strongly resonating with the ambassadors’ free-spirited attitude thanks to their stainless steel case topped off with a blue ceramic bezel.
Just like watchmakers, pro-golfers tirelessly work to push further the boundaries of their sport. Some members of the AP Dream Team, which counts 23 exceptional players today had met earlier this year for another sizeable challenge organised by the brand as part of its latest golf campaign, Out of Bounds. Together, they overcame bold water challenges with determination and a strong sense of camaraderie.
