OPPO Offers Qatar fans a #FameOPPOrtunity to Get Famous on TV

Global technology and smartphone company, OPPO, celebrates the launch of ‘The Masked Singer: Inta Min?’ with #FameOPPOrtunity - a challenge on TikTok and Instagram. Giving consumers the opportunity to win the latest OPPO devices as well as get famous on social media platforms and TV – the creative contest will run until end of January 2021.

To participate in OPPO’s #FameOPPOrtunity challenge, users must create their own short video using the campaign’s special song, with OPPO’s Masked Singer filters and choreography to begin and end the video. Users must then post the video on TikTok or Instagram. The lucky entries stand to win amazing prizes including OPPO’s latest devices and gadgets on a weekly rolling basis until the end of January, or the ultimate chance to star in an OPPO brand film.

The #FameOPPOrtunity challenge captures the essence of OPPO’s latest Reno4 Series of smartphones that boast a suite of never-seen-before features to help users create better online content. The Reno4 series’ groundbreaking portrait, night video, wide-angle and other photography and videography features empower every user to explore the boundaries of their creativity, which makes the #FameOPPOrtunity challenge the perfect platform for users to gain a shot at owning the phone.

Fadi Abu Shamat, Director of Strategy and Development at OPPO MEA, said, “OPPO’s customers are at the heart of all we do, and we are committed to engaging with them in ways that matter to them the most. In every region in which we operate, we adopt a local approach and reach out to the digitally creative, style conscious and entrepreneurial young creators in the region. The TikTok #FameOPPOrtunity challenge delivers unforgettable experiences, riding on the Reno4’s outstanding imaging capabilities that inspire people to fully express themselves. The promise of getting famous online and on TV, makes this contest hard to resist and amps up the excitement for the star-studded ‘The Masked Singer: Inta Min?’ show that we are proud to bring to the region in partnership with MBC.”

‘The Masked Singer: Inta Min?’ is the Arabic version of US reality singing competition TV show, The Masked Singer. Brought to the region through a partnership between OPPO and MBC, the show features 12 masked Arab celebrities and four celebrity judges including Syrian Actor Qusai Khouli, Lebanese Singer and Actor Cyrine Abdelnour, Egyptian Actor Hasan El-Raddad, and Saudi Broadcaster Muhannad Al-Hamdi. The show also marked the regional debut of OPPO’s loveable mascot – Ollie, who has become a popular character on the glamorous celebrity-packed program. As the show continues to hit the air with massive social discussion, a Giphy account was created showing Ollie interacting in a locally relevant fashion, which can be used on social platforms by all users.
