Piaget - Holiday Season

As the snow starts to fall over the Swiss village of La Côte-aux-Fées, Piaget’s manufacture will soon be covered in a thick white blanket. From the workshop’s windows overlooking this winter wonderland, Piaget’s watchmakers and jewellers marvel at the beauty of the snowflakes as they fall, each one unique, like the diamonds that adorn the Maison’s timepieces and jewellery. Piaget’s artisans are busy preparing for the holiday season with an array of extraordinary creations imbued with sparkle, joy, and happiness.

Possession has always been a companion that inspires its owners to take control of their lives and make their dreams come true. With every spin, twist or turn, this beautiful talisman releases its magic to bring luck and happiness to its owner. Joining the Possession timepieces, the Maison is unveiling a selection of Possession jewellery creations that all playfully “Turn for Extraordinary”. From rings to bangles and sliding pendants, they are all unique like snowflakes.

This medium-sized, 18-carat rose gold Possession Open Ring features a diamond-paved turning band on each end and two rose gold diamond-paved half-spheres, comprising a total of 104 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 0.53 ct).

Piaget presents two timepieces for this holiday season with not one but two rows of sparkling diamonds on the external turning ring. Adorned with natural white mother-of-pearl dials and diamond indexes, these precious timepieces reflect the light in all directions in a dance resembling sunlight on powdery snow. The timepieces come in 18-carat rose gold cases available in two sizes – 29mm and 34mm. The 29mm version is set with 173 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 1.62 cts), while the 34mm model is enriched with 192 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 2.20 cts). Both include a half-moon set diamond and are fitted with practical interchangeable navy- blue alligator straps with 18-carat rose gold pin buckles.

Piaget’s Altiplano Ultimate Automatic is manufactured in the winter landscapes of La Côte-aux-Fées where the Maison’s watchmakers find the quiet and calm to concentrate on this very special ultra-thin 910P manufacture self-winding movement. They completely reimagined the construction of this timepiece, directly integrating the movement into the case back and replacing the traditional micro-rotor with an eye-catching blue PVD-coated 22-carat gold peripheral rotor, achieving record-breaking thinness and utmost elegance. The timepiece comes in a 41mm 18-carat white gold case set with 90 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 0.58 ct) and an elegant dark blue dial.

Piaget’s Possession Twisted Open Bangle makes a bold double tour around the wrist in 18-carat rose gold with a diamond-paved band on each end, totalling 30 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 0.42 ct).

For the Altiplano Diamond Paved 35mm & 40mm timepieces, Piaget’s jewellers have found inspiration in the fields of snow around La Côte-aux-Fées with a bed of glittering diamonds that expand across the dial and case of each timepiece. Housed in 18-carat gold cases, the 35mm version is powered by the ultra-thin, 501P self-winding manufacture movement, and is adorned with 532 brilliant-cut diamonds on the dial (approx. 1.81 cts) and 68 brilliant-cut diamonds on the case (approx. 0.61 ct), while the 40mm model is fitted with Piaget’s ultra-thin 1200P self-winding movement and is paved with 630 brilliant-cut diamonds on the dial (approx. 2.54 cts) and 72 brilliant-cut diamonds on the case (approx. 1.00 ct).

This glorious rose can range in colour from light pink to a vibrant fuchsia and is appreciated for its large bloom with 80 layers of petals and its magnificent fragrance that features hints of citrus.
