Premier Inn Doha Airport Hotel to open in November

105 bedroom property to be Top UK Chain’s second hotel in Qatar 

The UK’s largest hotel brand Premier Inn will open its second hotel in Qatar this November. Premier Inn has signed a management agreement with Al Majed Group to operate the 105 bedroom hotel in Old Airport area.

“We are very excited about our new location in Doha. There is great demand for high quality midscale hotel brands like Premier Inn in Qatar. We look forward to 2022 as both our locations in Doha have a World Cup Stadium next door. Doha is at the centre of the world and the hosting of the World Cup in 2022 provides a greater opportunity to develop a wider selection of hotels for travelling fans and supporters,” said Country General Manager for Premier Inn Hotels, Rajiv Tarcar.

Britain’s most loved hotel chain is also becoming the Middle-east’s most loved mid-market hotel “We are a well-known brand in the region. The product has been well received in Qatar, and our guests are eagerly awaiting the opening our new location, which is 10 minutes from Hamad International Airport, as well as the Corniche and West Bay”, added Tarcar. 

The hotel is ideally located for business and leisure travellers being in the centre of Doha’s Old Town and close to Hamad International Airport from where it will operate a complimentary shuttle bus. The Premier Inn brand prides itself on offering an excellent value but high quality product for their guests will be minutes away from the city’s most popular attractions, including Souq Waqif, the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) and the National Museum of Qatar.
