Raffles Doha Invites Guests to an Unforgettable Culinary Experience with Michelin Chef Enrico Crippa



Chef Enrico Crippa has garnered a reputation as the "multicoloured master of the vegetable" earning him three Michelin stars at his iconic Piazza Duomo restaurant. For his first international opening, Alba by Enrico Crippa brings the acclaimed chef’s brilliant contemporary revisitation of classic Italian cuisine to an enchanting venue in the heart of Raffles Doha.


From 10 – 13 May, guests will have a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with Chef Enrico and sample his artistic, dynamic, and imaginative culinary skills, through delicious tasting menus, signature dinners, cooking classes, and grape pairings as part of a modern 'journey of the senses' honouring the rich flavours of Italy.


"I believe that a recipe should begin with more than just a list of ingredients. It has to convey something else: a message, an emotion, a context," Chef Enrico Crippa explained. "Cooking is a wonderful way to celebrate life."


Enrico Crippa invites guests to four interactive dining experiences, including Aperitivo Hour and a five-course tasting menu. Aperitivo hour is a cherished Italian tradition of winding down after a long day with friends over drinks and light bites. Guests can treat themselves to antipasto dishes coupled with signature Italian sips. Aperitivo at Alba by Enrico Crippa is available from 5pm – 7pm for QAR 195 per person.


The exquisite five-course menu personally curated by Chef Enrico, features delicious creations such as Langoustine, Burrata, Strawberries and Tomato Sauce, Risotto with Saffron and Veal Shank, and the famous Sorrento Lemon Cake with Almond Ice Cream and Basil. The set menu is available from 7pm for QAR 490 per person and QAR 640 with a Piedmont grape pairing.


An exclusive cooking class with Chef Enrico is set to take place on 11 May, at 2pm. A rare and exciting opportunity for food lovers to gain invaluable knowledge and skills from one of the world's most accomplished chefs. Guests can partake in the cooking class for QAR 1,200 with limited availability.


A memorable evening awaits guests, with a special grape pairing dinner, featuring the prestigious Ceretto Vino. True connoisseurs will appreciate the complementing flavours paired with the following dishes Roasted Lamb Shoulder with Mediterranean Herbs, Artichoke and Mint, as well as Fusilli Pasta with White Beans Cream, Razor Clams and Sea Urchin. Guests can indulge in this dinner on 12 May at 7pm for QAR 790 per person.


Alba by Enrico Crippa features luxurious dark green velvet sofas, red curtains, vertiginous ceilings, white marble arches and crisp white tablecloths. The stunning setting is complemented further by the chef's signature scenography, with greens and flowers from Alba’s greenhouse as the star ingredients, completed by meat carving and truffle shaving adding to the theatricality of the dining experience.
