Having evolved beyond its traditional setting into a sporting phenomenon, Darts is increasingly defined by its technical precision and meticulously engineered equipment. Crafted in Cologne, with RIMOWA's signature approach to functional luxury, the dartboard case draws on the German Maison’s decades of aluminium expertise, blending precision engineering and exceptional craftsmanship. Following the format of a traditional wall-mounted darts cabinet, this piece is reinterpreted through a double-door aluminium construction the first of its kind for RIMOWA. This unexpected yet refined statement piece is a perfect marriage of professional-level performance and purposeful design.

With this launch, RIMOWA unveils a special campaign directed by Grégoire Dyer and shot at the Maison’s historic Cologne factory, starring renowned American actor Walton Goggins as a security guard on his Sunday shift in RIMOWA’s headquarters. Unable to contain the restless energy while watching his beloved football team’s game, he organises the archive, wanders through the factory, and stumbles upon an aluminium case with a dartboard inside. Hoping to get his mind off the mounting tension of the game, he proceeds to throw the darts, determined to take matters into his own hands. The dartboard then becomes a negotiation between will and faith, with the guard believing if he hits the bullseye, his team will win.

Following the timeless aesthetic and emblematic design codes of RIMOWA’s Classic collection, the RIMOWA Dartboard Case features the Maison’s signature grooved aluminium, alongside custom latch locks with a polished finish, and double door frames secured with plane-engraved rivets. The case is designed to be easily mounted on the wall with a clean, minimal profile and all visible elements in a matching finish, while a Classic black leather handle ensures comfortable transportation by hand.

Developed in collaboration with Winmau, the industry leader in professional darts equipment and official supplier to the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC), this specialty piece combines advanced technology with hand-crafted quality to elevate a traditional sport. Crafted from high-end anodised aluminium, the refined case is a true collector’s item, designed to display the bespoke RIMOWA dartboard housed within.

Inside, premium black microfibre surrounds the Winmau Blade X dartboard, engineered for elite performance and delivery of unrivalled scoring consistency. Presented in a custom RIMOWA and Winmau co-branded design, an elegant, traditional colour palette is centred on light grey, complementing the aluminium exterior. Each door compartment holds a professional-grade dart set, with three darts per side featuring a bespoke design. These include RIMOWA-branded black shafts, as well as red and green flights adorned with the German Maison’s monogram in a refined two-tone palette. A leather pouch completes the set, providing optimal protection during transport and ample space for spare parts, ensuring the dartboard is always ready for games with friends, whether at home or on the go.
