RIMOWA’S SHORT-FORM VIDEO SERIES FOLLOWS MUSICAL SENSATION AYA NAKAMURA AT STADE DE FRANCE

Continuing its commitment to champion visionary voices, the German Maison is proud to unveil the latest chapter of its short-form series, this time accompanying internationally acclaimed French-Malian artist Aya Nakamura as she prepared for her historic concerts at the country’s national stadium. Conceived to celebrate singular cultural figures, this series offers an intimate portrait of those whose dedication and creativity continue to shape contemporary culture.

Directed by filmmaker Otman Qrita, the newest episode follows Aya Nakamura during the days leading up to, throughout, and immediately after one of the defining moments of her career thus far: becoming the first French female artist with a three consecutive sold-out performances at Stade de France with over 220.000 fans. As one of the most influential artists of her generation, Nakamura has redefined the global music landscape through her unmistakable voice, uncompromising authenticity and ability to transcend borders. Through a quietly observational lens, the film reveals the artistry and humanity behind an artist performing on one of the world's biggest stages.

Moving between rehearsals, backstage preparations, and the energy of her landmark performances, the film offers an intimate portrait of Aya Nakamura beyond the stage. Capturing the focus before each performance, the precision of rehearsals and the craftsmanship of the dancers, technicians and production teams who bring the shows to life, it reveals the discipline, resilience and collaboration behind every moment. As the final curtain falls, the portrait becomes more personal, following Nakamura as she returns to her inner circle and honestly reflects on ambition, motherhood, creativity and the journey that has led her to this moment.

Conceived to securely transport her mic-set in a foam inlay and featuring the Maison’s signature anodised grooved aluminium and iconic design codes, the Classic case was meticulously crafted at RIMOWA’s historic factory in Cologne, Germany. It includes the collection’s signature leather handle, polished silver accents, and TSA-approved locks. 

By revealing the moments that exist beyond the spotlight, the series celebrates the deep drive that underpins every creative journey. It is a reminder that the pursuit of excellence is shaped not only by defining moments, but by everything that leads to them.
