the Westin Doha Hotel and Spa has recently announced the appointment of Chef Fabio Genghini as the hotel’s new executive chef. Fabio brings a wealth of knowledge with over 20 years of experience, he worked in several distinguished international restaurants.

Chef Fabio worked in iconic restaurants such as the Michelin star restaurant “Pierino Penati” in Italy, London, Malta, Dubai, Tokyo, and Thailand. Before joining the Westin, he was the executive chef of Le Meridien Suvarnabhumi Golf Resort in Bangkok where he developed strong foundations and innovative culinary skills.

Commenting on his appointment, Chef Fabio said: “It is my great pleasure to be joining the Westin Hotel, a well-established property well-known for its huge banqueting operation, award-winning venues, and famous brunch concept. I am also looking forward to pursuing a new challenge in my career and developing our chefs’ creativity and skills.

He added: “We are working on creating new concepts which will be launched soon, hopefully after Ramadan. I am eager to lead my team to provide our guests with an unforgettable dining experience”.

With his extensive knowledge of the hospitality industry and global culinary experience in luxurious hotels and restaurants, Executive Chef, Fabio is a great asset to The Westin Doha and will provide guests with memorable food experiences.
