As the country continues its outstanding efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, W Doha has launched an initiative to support the national healthcare community in the fight against the global pandemic. W Doha contributed up to 3,000 meal boxes to bolster the national efforts of the government to provide the best healthcare and medical services for everybody living in Qatar and emphasise on its commitment to serve the community.
Wassim Daaje, General Manager of W Doha said, “In the midst of the COVID-19 crisis, we are committed to support our community and the nation’s efforts in all means. Our goal at W Doha is to explore every opportunity possible to play an active role in the worldwide pandemic and rally to support the local healthcare system’s efforts to provide the essential services. We are all in this together and our team is more than happy to serve and give back.”
The meal boxes were prepared at W Doha’s signature kitchen, with all precautionary measures taken into consideration. W continues to implement the highest standards and preventative measures to ensure that every step in the food preparation process is safe.
With a promise to support the community, W Doha has adapted to the new normal and supported the #forqatarstayhome national campaign, by launching several initiatives including the W2GO delivery service. The initiatives taken by W Doha come in line with the government’s precautionary measures, urging people to stay home and practice social distancing to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus.
