"This capsule collection is very me. I brought my own signature style and concept of women who strike the fine balance between fun and sexy to Marina Rinaldi to create a wardrobe that isn't timeless because it's basic, but because it's designed to sustain creative value over time". This is how Marco de Vincenzo sums up the spirit of his partnership with Marina Rinaldi, beginning with the Fall/Winter 21/22 collection.

The designer, born in Messina and one of the hot names on the global fashion scene thanks to his ladylike vision marked by unconventional femininity, began with his own concept of elegance and has now translated this into the inclusive and multifaceted language of Marina Rinaldi.

Thinking of the brand's customers as women who collect unconventional garments, de Vincenzo has incorporated surprising materials and shades—a quirk of his—and, together with Marina Rinaldi, explores a rich array of vibrant and positive colours.

"An eco-fur coat with a four-colour dégradé effect might seem scary on paper, but it really works. It's high fashion. I see this as my contribution to Marina Rinaldi whose partnership with me, like other designers before me, will help the brand to grow and strengthen its identity," adds de Vincenzo.

As well as a coat, there's a sophisticated eco-fur stole, and the double-layered wool pea coat with shawl neck and large buttons also boasts sumptuous shades that blend delicately into one another.

Another strong piece is the turtleneck dress with batwing sleeves, brought to life by thin, vertical black and white stripes crossed horizontally by an array of strips in various shades. The soft, roomy sweater with a wide yet sensual boat neck is embellished with the same motif.

In terms of formal wear, the white two-piece with a structured, thigh-length jacket, a skirt with leg-revealing splits on the front and back, and artful frayed edging is utterly seductive. The anthracite-grey suit, complete with contrasting lapels, hem edging and stitching, boasts the same motif.

Cinched by a belt around the waist and enhanced by a multicoloured polka-dot print and dégradé grosgrain detailing, the shirt dress is gleefully sensual. A georgette blouse and pleated skirt are embellished with the same pattern.
