BALLY MAN AUTUMN /WINTER 2022

For the Autumn/ Winter 2022 season, Bally returns ideas of timeless design while pushing boundaries through intelligent craftsmanship, evolving the modern wardrobe. The hand, literally and figuratively, is at the center of the experience, expressed through legacy artisanship and natural materials. Echoed across a tactile journey, supple leather ready-to-wear commingles with woven and crocheted accessories, sensual bombé-edged footwear, ribbed suede accents and soft hair calf styles.

Recalling the brand’s Swiss origins, references to architecture and graphic design are articulated through origami-like structural handbags and curved, block-heels. Bally’s roots in the mountains are further honored by an organic palette including bone, fossil, tide and midnight. A play on the environment’s chromatic elegance, a new Alpine camouflage debuts, revealing a disguised dialogue among the shapes of nature.

Creating a sense of intimacy and oneness irrespective of surroundings, the A / W 2022 collection mirrors a personal approach to belonging, a transitory passage into a sharp, sartorial world where sentiment and comfort are of primary essence.

A B E T T E R FUTUR E

Bally’s commitment to Sustainability is further interwoven throughout the A/W 2022 collection, continuing to preserve craft traditions while embracing innovation and eco-friendly processes, materials and techniques.

Elevating form and function; fashion as ritual comfort and self-expression.

SHOES

The heroic Valais presents in new, inspired iterations, from Alpine camo soft hair calf styles, to hiking-inspired Wallabee shoes, formal streamlined combat boots, and sportier hybrid suede, recycled mesh sneakers with Bally Stripe insoles; smooth calfskin and rubberized leather shoes highlight a higher level of craft complexity. Oxford shoes are streamlined with Norwegian construction and leather-injected soles. The new Holden sneaker further features a chunky sole and Bally Wing motif in mixed materials, from suede to laminated leather and nylon, purposefully combining past and present. All sneaker linings are GRS-certified and made from recycled plastic bottles, while leather is sourced from tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group or ISO.

BAGS

Vegetable-tanned leather Cliff holdalls feature elegant woven details mimicking the iconic silhouette of the Bally Stripe, demonstrating an excellence in craft. Brave soft nylon duffles in dusty whites and black, made of 100% pre-consumer, GRS-certified yarns, showcase multi-functional designs and metallic hardware and zips for versatile wear. Breeze backpacks in soft-padded nappa leather are accented with quilted details, while the formal Scribe range, from weekenders to cross-body bags, evolve for the new season with metallic elements and multi-functional design.

RE ADY-TO -WEAR

Drawing from the season’s theme of timelessness and comfort, destructured wool jersey blazers and trousers are designed for a relaxed fit. Tonal leather details are juxtaposed with cashmere crewnecks and coats, and soft-padded leather scarves and outerwear. Denim-effect cotton wool coats with contrast Heritage Red lining are paired alongside leather-crafted, straight-leg trousers. Wool jersey brings a soft, utilitarian comfort in a hemp-colored jacket and wide-leg trousers, worn with zip-up cotton sweatshirts. Shearling jackets in Oceania boast a nappa finishing effect inside. Loose-fitting wool shirts and fabric trousers signal ease, while eco-nylon Alpine camo bombers and cargo trousers create a uniform head-to-toe look; an eco-padded leather parka sees a detachable, tonal shearling vest.
