BALLY WOMAN AUTUMN /WINTER 2022

For the Autumn/ Winter 2022 season, Bally returns ideas of timeless design while pushing boundaries through intelligent craftsmanship, evolving the modern wardrobe. The hand, literally and figuratively, is at the center of the experience, expressed through legacy artisanship and natural materials. Echoed across a tactile journey, supple leather ready-to-wear commingles with woven and crocheted accessories, sensual bombé-edged footwear, ribbed suede accents and soft hair calf styles.

Recalling the brand’s Swiss origins, references to architecture and graphic design are articulated through origami-like structural handbags and curved, block-heels. Bally’s roots in the mountains are further honored by an organic palette including bone, fossil, tide and midnight. A play on the environment’s chromatic elegance, a new Alpine camouflage debuts, revealing a disguised dialogue among the shapes of nature.

Creating a sense of intimacy and oneness irrespective of surroundings, the A / W 2022 collection mirrors a personal approach to belonging, a transitory passage into a sharp, sartorial world where sentiment and comfort are of primary essence.

The longevity of handwork; fashion as a sartorial armor and embrace.

SHOES

A new Alpine camo in neutral soft hair calf styles elevates slouchy, thigh-high boots with wooden soles, rubber toe caps and B - Chain undersoles, and mules with metallic B - Chain hardware. The hiking -inspired Valais embodies a pioneering spirit with mixed material, bi- color stitching and high-volume soles, also reimagined as knee -high Chelsea boots in black grained leathers with bombé edge details. Sleek, feminine Grace shoes with B - Chain embossing are modernized with curved block heels. Norwegian- constructed, boat-inspired Tread shoes feature a contemporary, sharp take, as the iconic Curling is reinterpreted in soft padding, animating Bally’s heritage of craftsmanship.

BAGS

The new silhouettes of the Arc range, with its Ahria tote, Ares shoulder bag and Ariel clutch, bring a graphic nature and origami-like folds, adding structural integrity and sophistication. Essential staples, including pillbox bags with B-Chain embossing and B-Echo recycled nylon styles and Alpine camo motifs, feature. Leather craft presents across women’s bags, including the woven Beckie shoulder bag with wrapped B-Chain hardware.

RE ADY-TO -WEAR

Furthering the modern wardrobe, loose, leather-crafted styles are layered alongside knitted silhouettes, or fully bonded together as contrast Heritage Red lining, playing with fundamental volume and proportions. Dark mineral denim-effect cotton suit jackets contrast soft leather trousers, while soft-ribbed knits and dresses with scarf details in ocean-inspired hues bring lightness and ethereal comfort. The season’s Alpine camouflage is streamlined into refined, recycled nylon joggers, designed with elegance and edge; soft-padded outwear, including a fossil trench with contrast cotton lining, boasts eco and cruelty-free insulation.
