Nature is no mere pretext. Creativity is a form of expression, and heels encapsulate a mythology of their own. In a world where shoes express forms, volumes, and meanings, the Casadei Fall Winter 2026/2027 collection journeys through both real and imaginary worlds with equal care. It all starts with the Blade heel, the foundation for that complete design object we simply call a shoe. Thus, the slender metal heel— an engineered take on the breakthrough made by Mongolian horsemen, who invented the heel to provide support in the stirrup—is transformed into a sign and a signal, a definition and a structure, a focal point and a narrative element. “The heel defines an aesthetic,” says Cesare Casadei. This is the starting point for boots crafted like evening gowns, sandals with eco-fur anklets and crystal foliage, and high-cut T-bars. Paradoxically, this same inspiration also gives rise to sport-urban boots and double-face puffer styles.

“Shoes represent the creative journeys of my mind. That's why, for this collection, the starting point was my connection with nature. On a journey, both real and imagined, through the woods, colours took centre stage, materializing in images—the rich soil of the undergrowth, perfect leaves on branches, and the shifting hues of those fallen and torn. These tones and visual sensations imbue the collection's palette. A creative interplay that has allowed nature to boldly stamp its colours onto every single piece. Throughout this creative journey, I became convinced that in the cosmopolitan, often distracted world we inhabit, nature can't just be a pretext. Nor can it be a source of mere nostalgia. Instead, I believe we need to overcome the clichés we've attached to it. So the collection springs from this awareness, from a feeling that grew stronger and stronger as the creative process unfolded”.

The Collection. 

The Fall Winter 2026/2027 collection is a symphony of shades and silhouettes. It opens with Berlino, a tube boot featuring a leather cuff with a slit at the back reminiscent of an elegant evening gown, revealing the iconic Blade heel—an utterly sensual metallic blade. Next is Diva, an aptly named sandal featuring ankle straps and delicate, cruelty-free fur accents, available in both flat and platform styles. The collection continues with the post-apocalyptic vibe of Mammouth—urban-combat boots raised on a platform, with lacing that stops mid-calf or extends over the knee.

This harmonious contrast introduces Courtney, a napa effect puffer boot that combines protection, comfort, and style. It’s the perfect city-friendly look to keep the cold at bay. And finally, a new entry: Après-Ski. A Beatnik boot covered in beaver-effect faux fur, subverting expectations with a look that’s nostalgic and rebellious at the same time. If this is the symphony, its prelude can be glimpsed in the notes of Nina (leather and suede pumps with a curved heel), Giselle (kitten heels that transform the classic ballerina into a comfy court shoe), Basilisco (boots, shoes, and bags in brown python skin), Debby (a high-cut T-bar with side cut-outs), and finally, C-Love (a sandal adorned with a crystal branch motif).

“Practical companions for our shoes, is how Cesare Casadei describes them. Crafted in leather and suede, with laser-cut patterns created from contrasting hides, the Galleria, Beau Rivage, Bigli, and Duomo bags feature handles constructed with hand-stitched leather loops. A true expression of craftsmanship, where detail is the essence, not just decoration.
