Givenchy presents a new take on a much-loved heritage handbag: the Pandora, now available in nylon and leather, with distinctive details imagined by Creative Director Matthew M. Williams.
The new Pandora bags for men come in two sizes, materials, and colors: small or medium, in leather or nylon in neutral shades of black or khaki. A large version in camouflage with distressed details, as seen on the Fall-Winter 2023 runway, is available exclusively through the House’s made-to-order service.
A favorite since its launch in 2009, the iconic cube-shaped Pandora has now been revamped by Creative Director Matthew M. Williams, who revisited and masculinized its bold geometry in lightweight technical nylon as well as in various leather treatments for an elevated, slouchy allure, complete with silver-tone Givenchy lettering and other luxurious details.
With its unique cubic shape, roomy storage and versatility of wear, the medium-sized Pandora is an ideal everyday and travel companion. A central dual zip opens wide to reveal a generous main compartment that easily accommodates everything needed to get through the day, with an inner zip pocket to hold small items like keys and wallet, and an outer zipped pocket in back for other essentials. On the nylon version, an adjustable strap easily adapts to different styles of wear (shoulder, crossbody), while shoelace-style pulls in silver-tone metal lend a sporty chic allure. A black grained leather version features leather zip pulls, a practical top handle, and leather shoulder straps anchored by silver-tone D-rings.
For those who go everywhere with just the essentials, the small Pandora comes in a variety of materials and finishes, from black technical nylon to leathers. Versions in rugged Havana suede, soft grained leather, or leather with special treatments like vintage-style crackling or cheetah print are hot-stamped with silver Givenchy lettering. A compact yet ample main compartment is large enough to hold a small camera and belongings such as wallet, phone, and keys, while essentials like travel cards can be slipped into an outer flat pocket. An adjustable leather and flat-weave strap with reflective Givenchy lettering adapts to over-the-shoulder or crossbody wear.
The new Pandora bag for men will be available in-store and online from September 1st, 2023.
