GIVENCHY UNVEILS NEW TAKES ON THE GIV1 SNEAKER FOR THE SPRING 2022 PRE-COLLECTION

Givenchy is building on excitement around its newest footwear icon, the GIV1, with a fresh mix of visual signatures and a new style: the high-performance, unisex GIV1 TR debuts with the Spring 2022 pre-collection.

First presented by Creative Director Matthew M. Williams for Spring-Summer 2021, the original GIV1 blends the attributes of a performance sneaker with the sleek elegance for which Givenchy is renowned.

Launching with the pre-collection is the GIV1 TR, an entirely new design in mesh and leather. Available in both high-top and low-top versions, this style is a more technical iteration of the classic GIV1 sneaker, featuring the same iconic sole and colors ranging from cloud grey, graphite, steel blue and black to light grey with flecks of fluorescent yellow.

The original GIV1 also returns in exclusive styles, including some produced in collaboration with the artist Chito. A white, all-leather version is emblazoned with a spray-painted 4G motif; the artist's signature airbrushing also appears on a sneaker in black leather with white contouring, while an exclusive e-commerce style appears half-painted black.

Selected GIV1 styles from the Givenchy Spring 2022 pre-collection are currently available in-stores and online on givenchy.com. The GIV1 TR will launch in January 25th 2022.

Prices: from 750 euros (GIV1 LIGHT) to 895 euros (GIV1 in collaboration with Chito) and 950 euros (GIV1 TR).
