A MODERN REVIERIE, HIGHLIGHTING A SEASON OF FORWARD-THINKING FASHION

Breathing new life into existing wardrobes for both men and women, the arrival of the Autumn/Winter 2021 collections at Harvey Nichols - Dubai reveals a fresher, cleaner and more elevated direction than seasons past. Neutral colour palettes, dreamy essentials and a contemporary edge make for a season of light, optimistic, and forward-thinking fashion.




With easy sophistication being the dress code of choice, womenswear for Autumn/Winter focuses on fashion that feels light and new with textures like woven knits, supple silks and butter-soft leather defining everyday looks.

A roll call of newly added designers including The Row, Wardrobe NYC, WOERA and Joseph present effortless wardrobe mainstays for grown-up dressing while Victoria Beckham responds to the season’s call for elegance with feminine dresses and bold separates.





Clean shirting from WOERA and Rejina Pyo upgrades everyday staples, especially when paired with artful, statement-making skirts from newcomer A.W.A.K.E. Mode and 3.1 Phillip Lim.

For women with a taste for tailoring, classic jacket and trouser styles get the cool-girl treatment from Matériel Tbilisi and Acne Studios with oversized silhouettes slotting easily into business-chic wardrobes. Knitwear, a staple seasonal addition, arrives in hardworking shapes and grown-up hues of cinnamon, rust, and tobacco from brands like Dion Lee, Vince, Joseph and more – making luxe accompaniments to jackets and trousers. Dresses, too, receive an autumnal refresh as Jonathan Simkhai, Ronny Kobo and Khaite create flattering, waist-defining pieces that work perfectly paired with chunky sandals or stand-out heels.




To complement ready-to-wear’s elegant essence, major footwear choices for Autumn/Winter come from Gia Borghini, Neous and By Far with A.W.A.K.E. Mode leading the way with statement detailing. True to form, Aquazzura and Gianvito Rossi reveal refreshed classics in varying heel heights for nights spent in or out, while Paris Texas completes the footwear roster with boots to wear for seasons to come.

When it comes to finishing touches, elongated hoops from Missoma in gold and silver hues along with an assortment of pearl jewellery from Completed Works lift everyday looks, while chunkier pieces from Jil Sander act as one-of-a-kind style statements. As for the season’s carry-ons, extra-large shapes and tassel details come from Yuzefi, while BOYY introduces a new noteworthy bucket-style silhouette, the Lotus.




For a much-needed refresh, menswear reveals a cooler yet more grown-up outlook on ready-to-wear with a touch of colour and print to bring out the season’s cleaner pieces. Printed shirts from Paul Smith, CDLP and new brand Endless Joy, plus elevated everyday staples from Theory, Wooyoungmi and Acne Studios pair well with relaxed trousers from Commas and Officine Générale – acting as both work and out of office wear. For conversation starting pieces, Palm Angels offer a statement selection of shirts for the modern man.

New name to know, Human Made, makes its regional debut at Harvey Nichols – Dubai, infusing Japanese-meets-vintage streetwear style into menswear wardrobes, while another hotly anticipated new arrival, Fear of God Essentials, taps into everyday looks with luxe, yet easy silhouettes. Award-winning new designer Ahluwalia, swimwear from Commas, Danish athleisure from 7 Days Active and Oliver Cheshire’s Ché also join the menswear label lineup for Autumn/Winter 2021.
