JW Anderson introduces new colourways to the Bumper Bag family for Pre-Fall 2022

First introduced in Spring Summer 2022, JW Anderson launched a playful new range to its accessories offering, encompassing two striking shoulder bag styles in a clash of colourways and textured finishes, bringing a signature twist to classic pieces, emphasising extreme, enlarged proportions.

JW Anderson’s Bumper family comprises the Bumper and the Bumper Moon bags. The base is lined with a tubular padded piping and blown up with kneadable neoprene tubing. In a design discord, the adjustable strap is shrunken down in size, inspired by the proportions of a slim belt. The Bumper family emphasises inversion. The styles – which evoke bright buoyant balloons and cushioning travel pillows – are made inside-out and then turned inwards with their oversized padding exposed.

The Bumper and Bumper Moon are imagined in five different colourways and textures. In twisted two-tone high-shine glossy calf leather, clashing colours interact, such as toffee and lilac, bubble-gum pink and blue, post box red and black. The shoulder bags also showcase a tactile woven jacquard, comprised of a collision of raised double logos, inspired by JW Anderson’s signature packaging.

Additional design details include outer gold logo embossing, golden hardware on the zip and shoulder strap, an inner slip pocket and a super soft nappa lamb leather lining, with a patina that evolves over time.
