From Sunday 31st October to Thursday 4th November, MATCHESFASHION hosted their pop-up, bringing the concept of 5 Carlos Place, its renowned retail experience and events space in Mayfair, London, to Doha, Qatar.
The exclusive pop-up experience took residency in one of 14 townhouses located in Msheireb Downtown Doha, part of the Culture Pass Club, Qatar’s first private members Arts Club. Hosting a series of intimate events, activations and private shopping appointments, local and international guests were able to shop a curated edit of established and emerging designers, as well as meet Paolo de Cesare, Chief Executive Officer and Elizabeth von der Goltz, Chief Commercial Officer at MATCHESFASHION. Guests of the pop-up included Christopher Kane, Roksanda, Tabitha Simmons and many more.
The 5 Carlos Place pop-up in Doha ran in parallel with cultural festival #QatarCreates, where MATCHESFASHION is the global luxury retail partner for Fashion Trust Arabia. The partnership with Fashion Trust Arabia is part of MATCHESFASHION’s commitment to champion emerging designers on a global level, with the online platform offering the winners of the FTA Prize support and mentorship to achieve success in the fashion industry.
