NET-A-PORTER LAUNCHES NEW ISLAND ON ANIMAL CROSSING: NEW HORIZONS WITH EXCLUSIVE ISABEL MARANT AVATAR OUTFITS
NET-A-PORTER is excited to announce a new virtual experience within Animal Crossing: New Horizons, allowing guests to explore the new NET-A-PORTER island from the comfort of their home. Teaming up with local visual artist, Kara Chung (@animalcrossingfashionarchive) and creative agency, WeSuperseed, NET-A-PORTER will be celebrating the launch with five pieces of avatar outfits inspired by the exclusive Isabel Marant FW20 capsule collection which will be available for guests to purchase at NET-A-PORTER.
On visiting the NET-A-PORTER island, guests will be able to experience attractions that echo the contemporary feel of the real-life NET-A-PORTER Headquarter in London, UK, such as the monochromatic palette, white bespoke furnishings in the spacious reception area, the photography studio, an editorial room featuring some of the most memorable PORTER covers.
Elsewhere, guests can enjoy virtual coffee at the one and only NET-A-CAFÉ. They can also relax and soak up the virtual sunshine in the picnic area or make time to visit the gym and try some mindful meditation in the NET-A-SPORTER area. During their journey, guests can indulge in the beauty of various photogenic spots to take a coveted selfie via their NookPhone.
Last but not least, guests can visit the Able Sisters shop to browse and purchase the latest Isabel Marant digital ensembles for their avatars. They can strut down the island’s Runway to show off their new outfits. Taking inspiration from the brand’s exclusive capsule collection on NET-A-PORTER, the virtual garments will feature playful prints inspired from the ‘80s; a perfect ensemble for your avatar to party in.
