Rosewood Doha opens its culinary calendar with an exclusive dim sum showcase at Koo Madame, welcoming two of the most esteemed Cantonese chefs from Rosewood’s flagship properties in China.


From the refined Lingnan cuisine of Lingnan House, Rosewood Guangzhou, to the award-winning craftsmanship of The Legacy House, Rosewood Hong Kong, each proudly Michelin-starred restaurants, the chefs unite their mastery for a one-of-a-kind experience that celebrates the heritage of Cantonese artistry.


Enjoy a special à la carte dim sum menu available for dinner and during Koo Madame’s Friday Brunch on November 7.

The journey continues at The Butterfly Room, where Chef Jonathan Soukdeo, Executive Pastry Chef of Rosewood Hong Kong, who recently won Pastry Chef of the Year, brings the city’s most celebrated afternoon tea to Doha.


This limited-edition takeover features a bespoke menu inspired by his award-winning creations, including the signature Hokkaido Flan, transforming afternoon tea into a sensorial celebration of craftsmanship and creativity. A refined afternoon tea collaboration that bridges two icons of Rosewood elegance.


ROSEWOOD VILLA MAGNA X ROSEWOOD DOHA AT MILA: DECEMBER 10 TO 13, 2025


At Mila, Chef Francisco Sanabria, Executive Chef of Rosewood Villa Magna in Madrid, with over 20 years of experience, will present an extraordinary pop-up that unites two coastlines, the Mediterranean and the Levant.


Inspired by Las Brasas de Castellana, Villa Magna’s acclaimed restaurant, Chef Fran’s curated menu brings to Doha a masterful blend of flame-grilled craftsmanship, refined simplicity, and the soulful flavors that define the Iberian coast.

A four-night dinner experience that captures the warmth of the Mediterranean spirit through Spanish flair.

The series concludes at Asaya Kitchen, where the culinary team from Ristorante Campo del Drago, a 2-Michelin Stars restaurant, Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco, will bring the essence of Tuscany to Doha.


In harmony with Asaya Kitchen’s conscious dining philosophy, the chefs will curate a farm-to-table menu rooted in purity, provenance, and seasonal ingredients sourced from Qatar’s finest local producers. Fifty One East, Qatar’s favorite department store, unveiled its first-ever eveningwear trunk show of this scale, an unprecedented showcase uniting eleven of the world’s most prestigious brands under one roof. The exclusive event celebrated the artistry of couture, the innovation of contemporary design, and the immersive experiences that define modern luxury.


The opening event welcomed loyal clientele and key media partners to a showcase that seamlessly blended fashion, art, and emotion. Against a backdrop inspired by Roman architecture, each brand presented its Spring/Summer 2026 eveningwear collection in a uniquely designed booth adorned with Roman-style pillars and ethereal lighting. Guests enjoyed premium catering by Pierre Hermé and the exquisite offerings of Boucheron’s Jardin d’Hiver Café, complemented by captivating performances featuring a saxophonist on a ladder, a violinist encased within a decorative frame, and the mesmerizing spectacle of a flying piano.

Bringing together Carolina Herrera, Georges Hobeika, Giambattista Valli, Jenny Packham, Kiton, Marmar Halim, Monique Lhuillier, Naeem Khan, Oscar de la Renta, Saiid Kobeisy, and Tony Ward, the event showcased the latest eveningwear collections through a unified lens of artistry and innovation.


Each designer offered a unique interpretation of contemporary elegance: Carolina Herrera paid tribute to Madrid’s Golden Age and La Movida movement through vibrant florals and sculptural tailoring; Georges Hobeika celebrated slow craftsmanship and timeless sophistication; Giambattista Valli revealed ethereal romanticism with airy, floral-infused silhouettes; and Jenny Packham evoked cinematic glamour with crystal-embellished gowns. Kiton brought understated Neapolitan precision to soft, flowing tailoring, while Marmar Halim balanced strength and grace through sculptural draping and metallic hues. Monique Lhuillier expressed radiant femininity with bold colors, florals, and intricate embellishments, while Naeem Khan dazzled with cultural motifs and vibrant embroidery. Oscar de la Renta embraced nature’s renewal through porcelain florals and textural movement; Saiid Kobeisy refined couture codes with modern refinement; and Tony Ward reimagined Atlantis as a poetic metaphor for beauty and allure.
